I’m so glad you made your way here. My name is Dr. Jessie Short, I am a naturopathic doctor practicing in beautiful Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. I grew up in St. Margarets Bay, and after many years away pursuing my education in Western Australia, and more recently in B.C., I am beyond excited to be back. 

I believe in addressing the root cause of disease by developing individualized, multi-faceted treatment plans that allow my patients to reach a state of sustainable health. I have a special interest in hormonal and reproductive health, particularly in helping patients navigate preconception/pregnancy and postpartum, perimenopause/menopause, as well as digestive concerns, stress and anxiety. 

I am a professional member in good standing with the Nova Scotia Association of Naturopathic Doctors (NSAND), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA).
